The Design Studio walks you through it: the story, the people and pets, the places, and the style you’re drawn to. You pick from real options with examples rather than describing art from scratch. Photos of faces, the dog and the van help us get likenesses right the first time.
You pay at the end of the form, and that’s when our work starts. A person reads every brief, usually while grinning.
Concepts land in your inbox
You’ll get design concepts as watermarked previews, each taking your story somewhere a bit different. Pick the one that feels like you, or tell us what the right answer borrows from each.
The reveal is most people’s favourite part. Have the family around when you open it.
We build every concept with a mix of illustration and AI tools, directed by a person who has read your brief. That’s how a one-off piece of artwork costs $199 instead of a commissioned painting’s price. Every detail you care about is checked by hand before you see it.
Two rounds of changes, included
Reply to the email with what to change: the dog’s colour, the van’s shape, swap Uluru for the Bungles. Two full rounds are included and most covers are done in one. Need more? Extra rounds are $25 each, and we’ll tell you before anything is chargeable.
You approve. We print and post.
Once you reply with the okay, and only then, your design goes to print, sized to your spare from the tyre code. You’ll get tracking, and a heads-up from us if anything slips. The 7-day money-back guarantee and the 12-month warranty both start the day it arrives.
A week or so later we’ll send the digital keepsake copy and ask, no pressure, whether your cover can join the gallery.
